South Bend Student Researches Masons

Annie Burnett, a South Bend Masonic Learning Center student since November 2005, chose to research the Freemasons for a class project at her school's Learning Fair. The LaSalle Intermediate School fifth grader was impressed by how many famous men from history were Freemasons. Her project also spoke to the generosity of the Freemasons as their philanthropies positively affect mankind. In a defining statement she concludes “I think the Masons are good people and try to help the world in every way they can! The Masons are heroes to me. !” Annie feels lucky to be able to get help with reading at the South Bend Center . Annie has donated her project to the Learning Center and it is proudly displayed in our Center for all to see.
